Westside Pool installs the first SNHD approved VAC -ALERT Safety Vacuum Release System (SVRS) in compliance with the ‘‘Virginia Graeme Baker Pool and Spa Safety Act" |
SRVS System and Rola-Chem Chemical Feeder Pumps |
The Vac-Alert Safety Vacuum Release System's spring-loaded piston reacts instantaneously, opening to atmosphere and releasing the life-threatening suction of the drain. |
Contactors sense the vacuum release and trip the alarm. |
Audible/Visual alarm alerts pool users to unsafe conditions and sounds until pool operators respond. |
Vac-Alert "releases to atmosphere" but does not shut off pump allowing for reduced but continuous circulation and sanitization. |
Rola-Chem Chemical pumps feed liquid chlorine eliminating Cyanuric acid problems. |
This product, when installed in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions, is designed to protect against injury caused by body or limb entrapment. This device is not designed for protection against hair entanglement. It may mitigate evisceration. |
The Vac-AlertTM SVRS must be routinely tested to ensure ongoing safe operation of the unit. It is required that the SVRS be tested, per the prescribed testing procedures, prior to the start of each swimming season, and recommended thereafter at least once per month while the pool or spa remains in use by the end user. |
